Jamestown The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reduced the release from Jamestown Dam this week to 50 cfs, a reduction of 200 cfs.
Currently 50 cfs is being released from the Pipestem Dam for a combined 100 cfs flowing through Jamestown.
The pool level at Jamestown Reservoir is currently 1,431 feet above sea level.
The Jamestown Dam release will be shut off for about a week in August to work on the stilling basin below the dam.
