Donovan “Don” Ray Eberhardt, 88, of Jamestown, ND, passed away early Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Don was born January 28, 1930, in Jamestown, the son of Ray and Grace (Wescom) Eberhardt. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1948 and worked part-time of Solien’s Men’s Clothing. Don entered the National Guard and was stationed at Camp Rucker, AL with the 47th Viking Infantry Division from 1950 to 1952.

He and Laura Schelske were married on September 21, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where Don worked at Northwest Printing for owner, Jac Bye. Don was a pressman for the Jamestown Sun for ten years. Later, he started his own print shop, Two Rivers Printing and sponsored a women’s fast-pitch softball team. He also did wedding photography.

Don was a member of the Buffalo City RC Squadron, Jamestown and Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed Viking football, Twins baseball, bowling, racing go-carts, water skiing, watching fast-pitch softball, and flying model airplanes.

Don is survived by his wife, Laura Eberhardt of Jamestown; daughters, Karen of Rochester, MN and Lori of Jamestown; sister-in-law, Jane Eberhardt, Jamestown; brother, Duane (Mary) Eberhardt; nieces and nephews; and his faith grand dog, Gussie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Eberhardt; and nephews, Jerry Eberhardt and Teddy Schelske.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
