(WDAY)  The Jamestown Police Department apprehended a 15-year-old Jamestown boy early Saturday morning after he was allegedly caught breaking into vehicles in the Klaus Park area.

Police Lt.  Nick Hardy reports, just before 2-a.m., Saturday,  the Stutsman County dispatch received a call of a  person looking in the windows of vehicles in the Klaus Park area around 2nd and 3rd Streets Southwest and 6th Avenue Southwest .   An officer responded and observed the boy.
After a foot pursuit  he took the youth into custody.

Hardy says all of the vehicles the boy allegedly broke into were unlocked.
