BISMARCK, N.D. (July 3, 2018) – Gov. Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff until sunset Tuesday, July 3, and encouraged North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses, as a mark of respect for the victims of last week’s shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Md.

The governor’s directive is in accordance with a proclamation issued by President Donald Trump.
