Kelsey Grammer is considering a “Frasier” revival, Deadline reports. The 63-year-old actor, who played psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Craine on “Cheers” and then his own Emmy-winning spinoff series for a total of almost two decades, is reportedly meeting with writers for a possible new TV show similar to recent revivals of “Will & Grace,” “Roseanne” and the upcoming “Murphy Brown.”

Grammer executive produced “Frasier,” which ran for 11 seasons and won a then-record 37 Emmy Awards, also starred David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin, and the late John Mahoney. It’s unclear if any other cast members would be included, or if he’d change cities like the character did from “Cheers” in Boston to Seattle in “Frasier.”
