BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Hot weather over the weekend tied or broke records in western and central North Dakota.Temperatures Saturday and Sunday surpassed 100 degrees across the region. The high reached 105 degrees in Minot on Sunday.

The National Weather Service says records were tied or set in Minot, Bismarck, Williston and Dickinson.

The heat is not expected to stick around, with highs Monday around 80 degrees.

 

A cold front moves southeast slowly across the state Monday, with

a chance of thunderstorms developing along the front mainly Monday

evening and night.
