The Chamber Ambassadors & Young Professionals presented the Customer Service Award for Aug to Lana Hoffer of Perkins Family Restaurant and Bakery for her outstanding customer service.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Lana’s letter of nomination stated, “Lana is an amazing hostess.  She always goes out of her way to make sure my husband and I have an enjoyable dining experience when we eat at Perkins.  She calls us by our first names, seats us at our favorite table when possible, and even has our drink order memorized.  It floors us every single time!  She’ll even wait on us personally so we can sit in our favorite section when it’s not open.  Who does that?  I know Lana drives in from Streeter to work the evening/night shift, which can’t be easy.  She is efficient, pleasant and always multitasking.  Lana really embodies the name of the restaurant, because she definitely makes us feel like “family” when we’re there.  It would be great if she could be acknowledged for her excellent customer service!”
