Jamestown (CSi) As of 7-a.m., Sunday the Jamestown weather station recorded 2.72 inches of rain from overnight thunderstorms. 2.09 inches recorded on the CSi weather computer in Downtown Jamestown at Historic Franklin School. At 1-p.m., the weather station added another .01 if an inch of rain, in the 9 a.m. hour for a total of 2.73 inches.
Between 3-a.m. and 4-a.m., Sunday, over two inches of rain fell at Jamestown Airport. Of that 1.70 inches fell in just over 20 minutes. An urban and flood stream flood advisory was issued for southeastern Stutsman County between 5-a.m., and 7-a.m.
