Ellendale – Dickey County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell informs residents that the CodeRED system is used to alert individuals in the county in the event of a disaster will be tested on Wednesday September 5
Russell says, “This system will alert you via email, text, phone to inform you of any pending doom and what you can do to protect you and your families. These alerts will simultaneously populate Facebook and Twitter. You will be directed to the Facebook page to find out what current information or to our Public information line.”
Those who have not yet signed up for the free alert system can go line line to dickeynd.com, and contact the Public Information Line at 701-710-5135 with specific questions.
