Jamestown  (From Cassie DuBray)   Washington Elementary PTO is hosting the first annual Chili/Soup Cook-off and silent auction October 12 from 5-8 p.m.

Washington Elementary PTO is raising money to support the students at Washington Elementary and provide additional play ground equipment for the 2018-2019 school year. Play structures and seating are expensive and frequently utilized by Washington Elementary students as well as others in the community, including children attending the Jamestown High School Football games.

The cost to enter is $20/registration. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as a popular vote.

Sample cups will be available for purchase for $5 for anyone who would like to come and sample the chili/soup. Parties interested in registering their chili or soup as part of the cookoff need to register by October 5, registration is available online or at the school office. Sampler tickets are available in advance by purchasing them from students at Washington Elementary, a member of the PTO, or from the school office.
