Sherry A. Stanton, 56, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Monday evening, November 12, 2018 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Sherry Harriman was born June 17, 1962, in Jamestown, the daughter of Donley Harriman and Esther (Binder) Aljoe.  She attended school in Tappen, Woodworth, and Jamestown.  Sherry worked at the Budget Lodge, the Pantry Café, and her mother’s café in Ypsilanti.  She was married to Gordon Schmidt, and later to Andrew Stanton.  She was a homemaker, housekeeper, and loved to cook – which her family appreciated very much.  Sherry was an avid shopper of QVC and loved her pup, Joy.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Andrew Stanton; children, Derek (Kat) Schmidt, Joshua (Tausha) Schmidt, Ashley Stanton, and Jessica Stanton; two grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Leland (Gail) Patzner, Elroy (Elaine) Patzner, Tim (Melody) Harriman, and Troy (Katie) Naatus; sisters, Linda Kapp and Susan (Jerome) Guthmiller; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Sheila Ringuette; and sisters, Donna Diede and Sandy Kapp.
