Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown City Fire Department was called out about 1:11-p.m., Friday, to an apartment building at 1210 3rd Avenue Southwest.

The caller said smoke detectors were going off in the building.

Jamestown City Fire Chief Jim Reuther says, a dryer unit in the lower level of the building was the cause of the alarm activation.

No structural damage reported.

Four city fire units were on the scene about 20 minutes.
