Margaret Soulis – November 26, 2018

Margaret Soulis, 79, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Eventide Jamestown.

Margaret Zimmerman was born July 9, 1939 in Cleveland, ND, the daughter of Harry and Alice (Whipple) Zimmerman.  She graduated from Cleveland High School and attended Jamestown College where she was enrolled in the nursing program.  Marge married John W. Soulis on October 4, 1957.  They made their home in Montana for one year, then returned to Jamestown.

Marge was a homemaker and later worked for Singer Sewing, JoAnn’s Fabrics, and drove school bus for over 20 years.  She also drove for James River Transit and worked at Alpha Opportunities.  Marge enjoyed sewing, coffee, quilting, gardening, watching the LA Lakers and Blue Jay birds, and the company of her cats, Herman and Smokey and Bulldog (Boomer BoJangles).

Marge is survived by daughter, Jody (Jon) McClean; daughter, Jacqueline Soulis; son, Scot Soulis; daughter, Julie (Howard) Blinsky; grandchildren, Joshua (Denise), Jake (MiKayla), Tasha (Jeremy) Giroux, Jesse Blinsky, Levi (Micayla) Wahl Soulis, Peyten Soulis, and Reis Soulis; great grandchildren, Dilon, Sophie, Ryken, Sienna, and DeClan; and special friends, Margaret Darnell, LaVerne Slaughter, Nelson Carlson, Carissa, Cyenna, Layna and Luke Garrett, Jeff Swanson, Rocky Lawson and Mona Martell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Robert, David, Mary Alice, Clara, and Dorothy.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Interment: Cleveland Cemetery, Cleveland, at a later date.
