(CSi)  Jamestown Public Schools announces registration for kindergarten students, and first grade students, who have not attended Jamestown Public Schools.

Kindergarten Registration:

Parents will need to call 252-1950, the administrative office, to set up an appointment to register your kindergarten student.  The registration of ALL kindergarten students for the 2019-2020 school year will be held January 7th through 25th from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. by appointment only at the district administrative office, 207 2nd Avenue SE.

 

The kindergarten program is a District-Wide program.  Students may be required to attend the kindergarten program in a school other than their neighborhood school.  School assignments will be made in June 2019, which you will receive notification by mail.

 

Children who will be five years of age by August 1, 2019, are eligible to register for the 2019-2020 school term. Parents are requested to bring the child’s certified birth certificate.  The child’s certified birth certificate is required before permanent registration can be completed.   Parents are also requested to bring a copy of their child’s certified immunization records.  State law requires that all children be properly immunized before they can attend school.

 

FIRST GRADE REGISTRATION

Parents/guardians of children residing in the Jamestown Public School District who will be six years of age by August 1, 2019, and who have not attended kindergarten in the Jamestown Public Schools, should contact district administrative office, 252-1950, to set up a registration appointment held January 28th through February 1st, 2016.

 

Parents/guardians are asked to bring their child’s certified birth certificate.  The child’s certified birth certificate is required before permanent registration can be completed.  Parents are also requested to bring a copy of their child’s certified immunization records.  State law requires that all children be properly immunized before they can attend school.
