The bipartisan budget-neutral legislation strengthens the farm safety net and provides certainty and flexibility to North Dakota’s farmers and ranchers. The bill champions the needs of rural America and sets producers, rural communities, small businesses, and consumers on a better path. Cramer joined Senator John Hoeven and Senator Heidi Heitkamp as conferees on the 2018 Farm Bill.
The U.S. Senate passed the Conference report Tuesday by a vote of 87-13. The legislation now goes to President Trump for his signature.
