Rochelle Hovde, 68, Nome, ND passed Dec. 17, 2018 in Moorhead, MN. Rochelle Anne Brewer was born Dec. 27, 1949 in Kensal, ND where she grew up and attended school.

At a young age, she moved to Valley City where she continued her education.

On December 23, 1965, Rochelle married Daniel Hovde.

The couple made their home near Nome, ND where they farmed together and raised their three children.

When the boys got older, Rochelle began working for people doing baking, cooking.

Her great joy was baking and sharing her baked goods with people.

Baking was a way for her to relax as did spending time painting portraits, gardening and spending time with her cats on the family farm.

Rochelle also worked at Mercy Hospital and Maryvale Convent in Valley City in the dietary department.

She is survived by her husband Daniel; 3 children; her mother, brothers and sisters.

Interment will be buried in Memory Gardens near Valley City, ND in the spring.
