Medina (NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a one vehicle crash Thursday injured a child and adult on Stutsman County Road 68, 15 mile north of Medina, at 5:30-p.m.
The patrol says 27 year old Addison Hofmann, of Medina, was driving a 2008 Honda Civic northbound through a curved portion of the road and failed to negotiate the curve at the crest of a hill.
The car drifted off the edge of the road, slid sideways, struck an approach and rolled several times before landing on its wheels in the east ditch.
A motorist who came upon the crash, reported it to law enforcement. Hofmann was seriously injured, and a passenger, a 3-year-old child Beckton Hofmann, in a car seat, received cuts and bruises.
They were taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, and Addison Hofmann was then airlifted to a Fargo hospital.
The report says Addison Hofmann was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The car was totaled.
The crash is under investigation by the patrol.
Also responding were the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and Medina Fire and Rescue.
