Detroit  — Ford is recalling more than 950,000 vehicles due to concerns of flying shrapnel caused by exploding Takata airbags.

The recall includes 953,000 vehicles worldwide, including over 782,000 in the United States and over 149,000 in Canada, according to the Detroit Free Press.
