Pingree (CSi) The Pingree Rural Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon to a fire at a building supply business, that destroyed the structure.
The shop fire at 4:22 p.m. was at 7645 17th Street Southeast.
Fire Chief Jerome Dunwoody, says, the 50-by-100 steel frame building owned by Marvin Allen, contained an ag equipment repair shop, was a total loss.
A fertilizer business there sold building materials, hardware and garden supplies.
He says on Tuesday that the furnace was being worked on.
Two fire units and eight firefighters cleared the scene at 6:56 p.m
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
