Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police arrested two individuals, on multiple violations after a vehicle pursuit that started around 10-p.m., Friday.
Lt. Sid Mann reports, police attempted to stop a red Jeep vehicle leaving Casey’s General Store in North Jamestown.
The vehicle did not stop for the officers and continued through residential areas in Northeast Jamestown until leaving Northbound out of city limits towards Jamestown Marina.
The driver Cody Deese had a probation hold and a suspended driver’s license.
Spike strips were set up at the intersection of Highway 20 and East Lakeside Road. Evading the spike strips it continued east on 32nd Street Southeast at speeds of around 55 mph.
The vehicle the became disabled in a snow drift on the section line near 88th Avenue Southeast where Deese and a passenger Jessica Poux were taken into custody just a few minutes later.
During the pursuit, the two occupants switched positions in the vehicle.
Deese is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center on $1,5000 bond on charges of Driving While Operator’s License was Suspended, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude in a Motor Vehicle, and Wreckless Driving, and is being held on Parole and Probation hold. Poux is being held for Fleeing or Attempting to Elude in a Motor Vehicle.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
