TEMPE, Ariz. (uk.edu) Allan Pruss (JR/Red Deer, Alberta) scored at the 2:59 mark of overtime to help the 17th-ranked University of Jamestown hockey team to a 3-2 win over Arizona State University Thursday night.

Allan Pruss stole the puck just inside of the neutral zone, and the play quickly turned into a 2-on-0 advantage for the Jimmies. Following a give and go pass to his brother Michael, Allan beat Sun Devil goaltender Bronson Moore for his 12th goal of the season.

Phoenix McElroy-Scott (SR/Morden, Manitoba) scored twenty-eight seconds into the game to give UJ a 1-0 lead. Jack York tied the game in the second for ASU, then both teams exchanged goals in the third period.

Garrett Amaya scored an unassisted goal at 2:56 of the third to give the Sun Devils a 2-1 lead. Michael Pruss (JR/Red Deer, Alberta) found the equalizer at 6:05 to make it 2-2.

Jamestown has now won six straight and will look to continue their winning ways as they open a two-game series with Nevada-Las Vegas beginning Friday at 8:30 p.m.
