Lori K. Romsdal, 63, Jamestown, died Saturday, Feb. 16, in her sister’s home.

Our hearts were broken on February 16th when Lori Kay Bracken Romsdal, 63, Jamestown, ND, was called home by her Savior. She fought her final battle with boundless strength and a peace that passes all understanding.

Lori was born on April 19th, 1955, in Maddock, ND. She attended York Elementary School and graduated from Leeds High School in 1973.

Lori was born again in her teens when she met Jesus, and attended Living Faith Renewal Center in Caroline, Alberta, CA with her sister Sherry. She then spent many years traveling and singing with her family, bringing God’s light everywhere she went, and touched countless lives with her kindness and genuine heart for the hurting.

In 1990 Lori married Robert Romsdal and they lived at 1025 9th Ave NE, Jamestown, ND. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed and excelled at baking treats for her friends and family. Lori was a CNA and also worked at Hi-Acres in the activity department for many years. Her gentle spirit made her a tremendous caregiver.

While she never had any children, Lori was a precious mother to all of us who knew her warmth and love.

She joins her beloved parents, Orlando and Patricia Bracken.

She is missed immeasurably and loved always by her siblings, Sherry Bracken, Lanny Bracken, Jodi Caldwell, and Barbi Caldwell; husband Robert Romsdal; step-children, Becky Romsdal and Bryan Romsdal; nieces and nephews, Arianne Bracken, Tyler Bracken, Kindra Tir [Andrew Tir], Cameron Caldwell, Bree Caldwell, Timothy Caldwell, and Shiri’ Caldwell; and great-nieces and nephews, Kirra Bracken, Ana-Marie Bracken, Tori Tir, Ava Tir, and Drew Tir.

There will be a burial in the Spring. Our family appreciates your prayers and love.

Lori, you are truly irreplaceable; we can’t wait to see you again.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
