(VCSU.com) Valley City State University senior Kaitlin Connor has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team.
Selected by CoSIDA members (College Sports Information Directors of America), the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes nationwide for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The honor was announced Thursday.
A native of Madison, Minn., Connor was named to the Academic All-District Second Team in NAIA District 3, which features all NAIA schools in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Connor has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout her Viking career while juggling the heavy time demands of being a two-sport athlete in women’s basketball and track and field. She is majoring in psychology. This season Connor became Valley City State’s all-time leader in career blocks (119) and also set new school records for single-season blocks (43) and single-game blocks (6).
