Jamestown (CSi) The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports two men in separate vehicles were stranded overnight Saturday into Sunday morning on Jamestown Reservoir. The individuals were rescued by deputies using a tracked type vehicle.
Stutsman County sheriff Chad Kaiser says, the two men, one in each vehicle, became stuck while heading out on the ice. They were stranded on the reservoir overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
Kaiser reported that both men remained with their vehicles until help arrived.
Residents along the reservoir reported the incidents and the Sheriff’s Office headed out about 8-a.m. in tracked-type vehicles. Cell phone usage was not possible by one of the men at the time. The other man had no phone.
No injuries reported as they were prepared for any problems including gasoline on hand.
