(CSi)  The EZ Wheels Club, an El Zagal Shriners organization in Jamestown will hold Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser on March 9, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jamestown.

On Tuesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, EZ Wheels  member Craig Beedy said, check in will be from 11-a.m., to 11:45-a.m., and the tournament begins at noon.

Bags will be provided. Personal bags are not allowed.

Must be 21 or older to participate.

All participants must pre-register by contacting Sheldon at the Corner Bar in Jamestown at 701-952-2337, or Cork & Barrell Liquors at 701-952-9463.

The cost is $50 per team, and limited to 64 Teams.  Teams of two, double elimination

No, walk-in teams, unless a pre-registered team is a no show.  No refunds to registration fees.

The pay will be:

1st Place, $500

2nd Place, $200

3rd Place $100

Those teams that are double eliminated will have the opportunity to participate in a consolation tournament at the Knight of Columbus Hall, the same day with no additional fee.

That tournament will pay out:

1st Place, $150

2nd Place $100

 

All proceeds for the tournament will be used to support the activities of the EZ Wheels Club.

The club consists of 25 car and motorcycle enthusiasts, with its mission to assist with transportation costs for families of children 18 years old and younger, being treated at one of the 22 Shriner medical facilities.

 

Also on our show El Zagal Shriners, Chairman of the Board, Rick Qual said, the EZ Wheels club works along side of the Jamestown Clowns and the Jamestown Mystics, and the James Valley Shrine Club, sharing the mission.

Rick said the about 1,000 members serve the region consisting of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
