Jamestown (CSi) A Jamestown man was arrested Sunday about 11:30-p.m., following a pursuit that covered more than 50 miles, that began in Jamestown.
Police recognized 27 year old Cody Deese as having outstanding warrants and a suspended drivers license.
The pursuit began at the intersection of 10th Street Southeast and 8th Avenue Southeast in Jamestown, then west to I 94, then going north on the truck bypass, south on Highway 52 back to Jamestown and then south on Highway 281 to Montpelier.
He then traveled north on Highway 281 to Jamestown.
Spike strips blew out three tires of the car.
The pursuit ended at the intersection of 10th Street Southeast and 4th Avenue Southeast in Jamestown.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Deese is being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude, driving under suspension, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three warrants.
