Gerald Volkman, 77, Jamestown, ND passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at his home.Gerald Volkman was born August 3, 1941 in Jamestown, ND to Ewald and Evelyn Volkman.  He attended Deere Lake Country School for eight years before attending and graduating from Jamestown High School.  Gerald was a student at NDSU for a few years before being called back home to work the family farm due to his fathers’ health.  Gerald lived and worked on the farm north of Windsor until moving to Jamestown in 1964 where he resided until his passing.  A favorite pastime of his was going boating.

He is survived by his sister Charlotte (Buck) Baenen, Fargo, ND and special friend Vickie Jeager, Carrington, ND.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 10 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown.  Burial in the spring at Highland Home Cemetery.
