KINDRED, N.D. (AP) — Firefighters used drone technology to help battle a house fire near Kindred.
Officials say the Cass County Sheriff’s Office drone gave firefighters an aerial view of the fire which allowed them to attack the hot spots. KVRR reports Kindred Fire Chief Rich Schock says the roof had collapsed and the walls were bulging making it unsafe for firefighters to enter Saturday.
One person who was home at the time the fire broke out escaped without injury.
