Kay Ann Deuitch, 78, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.

Kay Ann Ketelsen was born January 21, 1941 in Wimbledon, North Dakota to Andy and Myrtle (Stamnes) Ketelsen. She attended a rural school in Gray Township and graduated from Wimbledon High School. Kay worked at National Food for one year and Otter Tail Power Company for 38 years, retiring in 1998. Kay married Donald W. Deuitch on August 11, 1961 in Jamestown.

Kay was active in Women of the Church at St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Jamestown Area Grief Support Team. She enjoyed reading, crafts, “eating out”, and having coffee with friends, neighbors and relatives.

Kay is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents, brothers Richard and Dale and one sister Lois Petersen.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, April 12, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Lucas Holsten officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
