Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a grass fire at the railroad tracks adjacent to Hillcrest Golf Course Friday
Lt. Sheldon Mohr, says the fire burned less than 10 acres and could have been started by a spark from a passing train.
Then the fire rekindled Saturday as railroad ties reignited.
15 city firefighters were on the scene for two hours on Friday and then one hour on Saturday.
The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire Monday south on Highway 281.
