Arline Lueck, 94, Jamestown, ND,  passed away Sat May 4, 2019 at Eventide in Jamestown. 
Arline Kathleen Erickson was born Dec 3, 1924 southwest of Adrian, ND, the daughter of William and Oline (Olson) Erickson.  The family lived there until 1928 when they moved to a farm 2 ½ miles northwest of Ypsilanti, ND.  She received eight years of schooling at Homer School #3.  Arline was baptized and confirmed in the Ypsilanti Lutheran Church.  During her teens she helped her folks on the family farm milking cows.  She also worked for different farms doing housework and babysat for relatives and friends.One highlight in her life was when she was asked to work in the Ypsilanti Bank starting December 3, 1950, working her way up to President in 1960.  She held that position until her marriage to Kenneth Lueck on February 27, 1966 in the Ypsilanti Lutheran Church.  Kenneth and Arline lived on the family farm north of Spiritwood, ND until moving to Jamestown in October 2006.Arline was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown.  She enjoyed traveling the world, fishing, camping, gardening, playing cards and bowling.  Arline bowled in the State Class A Tournament winning, with her teammates, first place.  She has also won many prizes at the Stutsman County Fair for her canned vegetables and fruits.

Arline is survived by two sisters Lillian Peckham, Jamestown and Evelyn Clemens, Fargo, ND; brother-in-law Donald Willey, Jamestown; sister-in-law Vernell Erickson, Jamestown and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth and four brothers Henry, Oscar, Carl, Floyd, two sisters Wilma Dally, Leone Willey and a few nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Eventide Jamestown Special Care Unit for their wonderful loving care for Arline.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 9 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Robert Hill officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
