Jamestown (CSi) A memorial car wash on Tuesday, May 28th was held at the Jamestown High School parking lot, in honor of Jim Christ , who passed away in the fall of 2018.
Jim was an avid sports fan, and was at nearly all Blue Jays home games. The car wash Tuesday raised $4,500.
Coach Kelley Kessler says when they learned that Jim’s grave did not have a headstone, they came up with the fundraiser.

Jamestown (JHS) To honor the late Jim Christ, an avid Jamestown sports fan who passed away last year, the Jamestown High School JHS athletics department, sponsors a free will car wash, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at the Jamestown High School High School, parking lot.
Blue Jays volleyball coach Sara Hegerle says the project is a fundraiser for community service projects in Jamestown, and will celebrate Jim’s life.
Jim Christ received the Jamestown High School Distinguished Service Award earlier in 2018 for exceptional support and devoted service to the Blue Jay community.
