Prom 2013

When:  Saturday, April 27, 2013; 8:00 pm

Where:  Jerry Meyer Arena, Jamestown High School

Grand March Tickets:  $4.  Advance tickets for Grand March spectators will be sold in the Commons April 24, 25, 26 11:00 – 12:30.  Tickets will also be available at the door.

Sign Up:  Jamestown High School office.  April 12 – April 25.  Couples wishing to participate in the Grand March must be registered by April 25.

Requirements:  All students who attend the prom, must be at least a junior in high school.  Any students attending from other schools, must submit a letter signed by their administrator showing proof of their grade.  Any person attending prom that is out of high school must complete a verification of age sheet located in the office.

Prom Couples may arrive at the High School from 7:00 – 7:30 pm.  Couples should report directly to the Music Doors.  At this time, you will register and be given your registration card, which you will use to present to the emcee as you enter the gymnasium for the grand march.

School Policy:  The Prom is a school event and the same rules listed in the Student Handbook will apply at our 2013 Prom.  All School Events are alcohol and drug free.  All prom couples will be required to take a Breathalyzer test at the door.  Once students enter the building for prom, re-entry is not permitted.  Once couples are in the building, there will be no opportunities for individual photos by friends or family at any time. 

Spectators:  The Northwest doors will open at 7:20 pm. and close at 8:00 pm. All prom spectators must be seated by 8:00 pm.  Tickets will be available for sale at the door.  If any spectator is in need of any special accommodations, please contact Bill Nold at 952-4004.  After the Grand March, spectators will exit the Northwest doors or the athletic doors.  No spectators will be allowed in the Commons area at any time.  Thank you for your respect on this issue.
