– Man faces charges, allegedly assaulting JPD officers

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police reports a Fargo man is under suspicion of assaulting two Jamestown Police officers.

Major Justin Blinsky says, 28 year old Christopher Houston Perman, formerly of Jamestown, was taken into custody on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assaulting two Jamestown police officers last Saturday.

Blinsky says officers were sent to the area of the 900 block of 4th Avenue, Northwest, after a report of a male looking in windows. The officers made contact with Perman in the alley. As he was questioned, Perman showed signs of aggression, and when officers attempted to determine if he had a weapon, Perman allegedly bit one officer and injured the other.

Perman was taken to a medical facility Saturday and transferred to the Stutsman County Correctional Center last Tuesday awaiting formal charges.

Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

An investigation of possible thefts in the area is continuing.
