Elizabeth Ganser, 80, of Cleveland, ND, died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Eventide, Jamestown, ND.Elizabeth was born October 15, 1938 at her home in Alvwood, MN to Kenneth and Esther (Kust) Oliver.  She grew up in the Jamestown, North Dakota area and attended Jamestown High School.  Elizabeth married Francis Ganser on October 22, 1953 in Bozeman, Montana.  They raised three children together.  Elizabeth flagged road construction for Northern Improvement and her and Francis owned Ganser Bar in Cleveland, ND.  She enjoyed NASCAR, puzzles, shopping for her children and grandchildren, and casinos.  She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  “Queen” Elizabeth will be missed by her family and the residents, staff, and puzzle workers at Eventide.Elizabeth is survived by her two sons, Mark (Dee) Ganser, Cleveland, ND, Tim (Shari) Ganser, Windsor, ND; daughter, Sue Ganser (significant other, Doug Geeting), Cleveland; five grandchildren, Brian (Karen) Ganser, Cleveland, Jacy (Jerad) Voglewede, Bismarck, ND, Travis (Kristen) Ganser, Cleveland, Kaylee (Austin) Lang, Jamestown, Sarah Broderick, Cleveland; 15 great-grandchildren, (Brian) Marissa Norheim, Chase Ganser, Katrina Miller, TJ Ulrich, (Jacy) William and Cooper Voglewede, (Travis) Eva Ganser, (Kaylee) Karter and Bodee Lang, (Sarah) Jordan and Jakob Schempp, James Broderick, Jr., Peyton, Clayton, and Emily Olson; two sisters, Patricia Wyant, Mandan, ND and Shirley Wolsky, Valley City, ND; brother, Jim (Linda) Bender; sister-in-law, Betty (Vince) Ament, Barbara (Allen) Hueseth, Mary (Dale) Zillmer, and Carol Ganser; and brother-in-law, Jerry Carlson.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one great-grandchild, Madison Hoyt.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2019 at Eventide Chapel, Jamestown with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
