Mapleton (NDHP)  A one vehicle  rollover crash Wednesday at 11:40-a.m., at the I-94 Mapleton Exit, caused injuries to the driver and passenger.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, an SUV driven by Katrina Chichon of Fargo was westbound on I-94 in the left lane.  The vehicle swerved toward the median and then over-corrected to the right causing her to lose control.

The vehicle entered the median where it rolled over.  The vehicle rolled across the eastbound lane and into the south ditch where it came to rest upright.  Katrina Cichon was ejected and came to rest in the median.  The 7 year old passenger remained inside the vehicle.

Both the driver and the passenger were transported to Sanford Hospital for their injuries and are in stable condition.  Eastbound I-94 traffic was diverted at the Mapleton exit for approximately 45 minutes during the initial response.
