Bismarck  (NDDOT)  North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking volunteers for the state’s Adopt-A-Highway Program. The Adopt-A-Highway Program relies on volunteer groups to clear litter and debris from our state highways during the months of April through September. These volunteers are vital to the program and help to minimize roadway maintenance costs and save taxpayer dollars. Under the Adopt-A-Highway Program, your group can help to beautify North Dakota and your group’s name will be placed on an Adopt-A-Highway sign along the section of roadway you have adopted.

Last year, over 200 groups volunteered to clean up more than 700 miles of roadway across the state.

Please consider volunteering you or your organization’s time to help beautify North Dakota. Guidelines and forms can be found at: https://www.dot.nd.gov/public/adopt.htm#adopt-a-highway
