Brenda was born on December 12, 1961, the daughter of Meinhardt and Colleen (Scholosser) Flemmer. While growing up, she learned to play the piano and music was a big part of her life. She was also bit by the “travel bug” as every summer her family would take a vacation to someplace far away from North Dakota! Brenda graduated from Kearney State College in Kearney, NE. Her travels continued as she lived in St. Paul, Colorado Springs, before ending in Westminster where she bought her house.

She also enjoyed taking photos, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, was a fan of the Avs, Rockies and Nebraska Cornhusker. Go Big Red! In her free time, she loved pickleball and going up the hill with Barb to gamble. Brenda loved her Alaskan Malamute, Paka and wolves.

Traveling the world and experiencing culture was her goal in life: Ireland, China, Japan, Australia, Africa, Iceland, Costa Rica, Russia and Germany were just a few of the places she visited. She LOVED to travel! Brenda was loving, adventurous, independent and had a big heart. She loved her family and being involved in their many activities.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents. She survived by her sister Barb and brother-in-law Patrick Hallman; niece Erin Hallman and nephew Luke Hallman.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
