“Navigating with Lewis and Clark”: “How did they know where they were when they were in the middle of nowhere?”  This program explains how Lewis and Clark used astronomy and math to navigate and map the Louisiana Purchase to remarkable accuracy.  This program, suitable for grades four and above, lasts about 40 minutes.
