BISMARCK, N.D. (AP April 29, 2013)) – Gov. Jack Dalrymple has appointed a new executive director of the North Dakota Department of Human Services.
Maggie Anderson has been appointed to the position. She has been interim executive director since August 2012.
Dalrymple says Anderson is a proven leader and brings lots of experience to the role of executive director.
Anderson says she is honored to have the position. She says she looks forward to continuing to work with Dalrymple, legislators and the entire DHS department to provide services.
The Department of Human Services employs about 2,100 people and has a current, two-year budget of $2.6 billion.
