(NDHP)   The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified 52 year old James Nolf, of  Alexander, ND, as the victim of a Fatal crash involving his semi, on September  2, at 2:15-p.m., McKenzie County Road 2, 1 mile East of Tobacco Gardens.

The report says the  Kenworth was traveling westbound on McKenzie County Road 2.   The Kenworth was pulling a tanker trailer. Nolf failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and the Kenworth ran off the roadway into the north ditch.   The Kenworth overturned onto its top and the trailer jackknifed. The Kenworth came to rest in the north ditch on its top, facing west, with the trailer next to it.   Nolf sustained fatal injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead on scene. The road surface was saturated and slippery from recent rainfall.

This crash remains under investigation.
