Harriet Jean Wahl, 94, Williston, ND formerly of Jamestown, ND died Monday morning October 28, 2019 at the Williston Medical Center in Williston, ND.

Harriet Jean Beaver Wahl was born April 5, 1925 at Pingree, ND to Harry and Mabel (Mino) Wescom. She attended country school and Pingree High School graduating in 1943. She taught country school and worked briefly at the Jamestown State Hospital.

Harriet married Anun Beaver December 4, 1944 in Jamestown, ND. They farmed for 4 years near Pingree, and then moved to Jamestown in 1948. That marriage was blessed with 2 children, Kevin Michael and Arlene Margaret. Anun died 1978.

She married Wilmer Wahl in 1983. Wilmer passed away December 16, 2010.

Harriet enjoyed baking, crocheting, gardening and sewing. She was a dress maker for over 25 years. Her greatest love was music. She played several instruments. Her favorite was the accordion. She played at local nursing homes for many years.

Harriet was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as deaconess, musician and Sunday School Treasurer for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Campbell, Williston, ND; her daughter-in-law, Delly Beaver, Binford, ND; 1 step son, Wayne Wahl, Chandler, AZ; 4 grandchildren and a step grandchild, Dorreen (Steve) Eckman, Jamestown, ND; Denise (Franklin) Eslinger, Hannaford, ND; Shana (Aaron) Schwehr, Northwood, ND; Blaine Campbell, Fargo, ND; and Amber (Mike) Sylvester, Kellogg, MN; 6 great grandchildren, Mike (Brianna) Beaver, Reece Herry, Lydia Eslinger, Anun Eslinger, Avery Schwehr, and Jett Schwehr; and her sister, Mary Heien, LeMars, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, 1 son Kevin Beaver, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Mom loved her family and always said she had a good life.

A heart-felt thank you goes out to those who befriended of helped Mom in her last years, especially her granddaughter, Dorreen.
