BOULDER, Colo.– Six different players scored goals as the ninth-ranked University of Jamestown hockey team won its 11th straight game with a 6-1 victory over University of Colorado Saturday night.

The Jimmies return home to host Williston State College on December 8.

Allan Pruss (SR/Red Deer, Alberta), Tyler Chavez-Leech (JR/Red Deer, Alberta), and Dylan Haney (JR/Brandon, Manitoba) all found the back of the net in a span of just 3:44 to give UJ a 3-0 lead. Jamestown had a commanding 17-3 advantage in shots in the opening 20 minutes.

Colorado answered with a goal at 7:31 of the second to make it 3-1, but Aidan Potas (FR/Fargo, N.D.) (17:05) and Carter Johnson (SO/Meeteetse, Wyo.) (19:11) added late tallies to extend the lead to 5-1 heading to the final period.

Jordan Popoff (FR/Calgary, Alberta) tallied UJ’s final goal of the night, coming at 3:02 of the third period.

Chavez-Leech, Gage Thompson (FR/Valley City, N.D.), and Allan Pruss each assisted on two goals while Ned Simpson (SR/Kitchener, Ontario), Destin Robinson (SR/Ponoka, Alberta), Cole McKechney (SR/Calgary, Alberta), and Michael Pruss (SR/Red Deer, Alberta) also recorded assists.

David Anderson (SR/Santa Clarita, Calif.) stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced for the win. Jamestown was 1-for-6 on the power play while the Buffaloes went 0-for-6. Shots ended 34-19 in favor of the Jimmies.
