(NDHP) On Wednesday, December 11 at 1:51 pm, a North Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper was patrolling I-29 south of Grand Forks, near MM 134. At that time, he observed wheel tracks leading off the northbound lane that led to a white Ford F250.
The Trooper observed a man slouched over in the vehicle. The Trooper broke the window, pulled the man from the vehicle, and began CPR. Additional Troopers, members of the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Office and Thompson Fire Department arrived to assist on scene.
The man, 51 year old Erick Magnusen, of East Bethel MN, was taken to Altru Hospital by ambulance, where he died.
