C. Gary Milbrath, 74, died unexpectedly on December 10, 2019.
Gary was born in Minot, ND on March 28, 1945 to George and Cecilia (Wetzel) Milbrath. Gary was raised in Parshall, ND and graduated from Parshall High School. Gary continued his education at the Wahpeton State School of Science becoming an architectural draftsman.
He and Sherri McAllister were married August 6, 1966 and then moved to Minot to start their careers. Gary’s career really took off when he accepted a position in Dickinson, ND, with the Carlson Company as a draftsman. They later moved to Jamestown where he worked for Maranatha. He also owned his own tool truck and spent the 80’s and 90’s traveling ND.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sherri, Jamestown; brother-in-law John (Valentine) McAllister, Sun City, AZ; 3 daughters Mindee (Phil) Wolverton, Bismarck, ND; Darcee (Craig) Waller, Hutchinson, MN; Tamee (Brian) Franck, Aitkin, MN; 17 grandchildren Sarah, Ceceilia (Fiance-Jacob Babcock), Parker (Sarah), Zerian (Fiancee-Delaney Bachman), Tiffany, Zavior, John, Cassandra, Zeanna, Zakara, Samuel, Zakita, Zakala, Cooper, Zohrak, ZsaEve, ZeClea; and his niece and nephews. Although Gary was an only child, his cousin Kenny was like a brother to him.
