James Miklas, 67, Jamestown, N.D., died Sunday, Dec. 29, in Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, in St. John’s Cemetery in Kensal, N.D.

James (“Jim”) Miklas, 67, Courtenay, ND, died Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
James Harold Miklas was born April 17, 1952, in Kensal, ND, the son of Joseph and Laura (Romelfanger) Miklas. Jim married Gwyn (Rall) on April 21, 1975, and they succeeded Jim’s parents in operating the family farm. Jim enjoyed living in God’s country on this same farm until his death.
Jim had a deep faith and love for his family, friends, and the farm. Jim was also loved by many for his honor, strong work ethic, kindness, and sense of humor.
Survivors include a daughter, Natalie, Centennial, CO; a grandson, Kayden, Centennial, CO; two sisters, Mary (Russ) Haas, Bismarck, ND, Dorothy Conley, Grand Forks, ND; companion Theresa Swanson, Courtenay; and several nieces and nephews.
Service and Interment: a date will be set for late spring and will take place at St. John’s Cemetery, Kensal, ND.
Arrangements are in the care of Williams Funeral Home.
