Jamestown (CSi)  Jamestown Police are investigating a roof collapse on Business Loop West in Jamestown, that houses the Jamestown Salvation Army Thrift Store and a computer store.

Lt. Sid Mann says police were informed of the roof collapse just before 8-a.m., on Friday.

The interior of the collapsed roof section of the building was extensively damaged.

The Jamestown Salvation Army Thrift Store, section of the building did not appear to be affected by the collapsed roof section.

 

<Photo  from March 14, 2019, when a snow storm packing several inches of heavy wet snow collapsed the exterior canopy of the building. Subsequently the center section of the building was deemed unsafe, and abandoned.
