(AP)  A man charged in the shooting death of a Bismarck man has waived extradition and will be brought to North Dakota to face charges. Forty-one-year-old Earl Howard was arrested Thursday in Michigan at the U.S.-Canada border. Howard is charged in the death of 42-year-old Chad Entzel, whose body was found last week after authorities responded to a fire. Entzel’s wife, 38-year-old Nikki Entzel, is also charged. Howard appeared in Michigan’s St. Clair County District Court on Friday and waived extradition.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Canadian man wanted in the killing of a man in North Dakota has been arrested. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers arrested 41-year-old Earl Howard of Belwood, Ontario, early Thursday on the Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron, Michigan, with Ontario. A warrant was out for Howard’s arrest for murder in the death of 42-year-old Chad Entzel in Bismarck, North Dakota. Entzel was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a bedroom after authorities responded to a house fire last week. The victim’s wife, 38-year-old Nikki Entzel, is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in his death.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) —The wife of a man found fatally shot after a residential fire in Bismarck faces felony conspiracy charges in his death, and an arrest warrant for murder is out for a Canadian man in the case.

Thirty-eight-year-old Nikki Entzel was charged Wednesday with conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit arson and conspiracy to tamper with physical evidence. A judge set Entzel’s bail at $500,000. An arrest warrant was issued for 41-year-old Earl Howard of Belwood, Ontario. The body of 42-year-old Chad Entzel was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the bedroom of a Bismarck home last week.

The Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department says 38-year-old Nikki Entzel was arrested Tuesday night on possible charges of conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit arson and conspiracy to tamper with physical evidence. Formal charges have not been filed. Sheriff’s officials say another person of interest has been identified and is being sought. The body of 42-year-old Chad Entzel was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the bedroom of a Bismarck home Thursday. Officials say a fire was contained to the bedroom.
