Bradley Orville Meyer, 63, of Anthem, AZ died April 6, 2020 due to complications with renal failure.

Brad was born on May 7, 1956 in Fargo, ND, the son of Orville and Muriel (Stende) Meyer.  He grew up in Grandin, ND and was a member of Grandin Lutheran Church.  He worked with his father at Grandin Highway Service, attended and graduated from Grandin Public School.  Following graduation, he was co-owner of a music store in Casselton, ND.  There he sold sheet music to schools and taught guitar lessons.   Brad was lead guitarist and singer in a group called “The Rovers” that played at various venues around the community.

Brad enjoyed playing on a fast pitch softball team in Fargo and was an avid golfer.  He looked forward each spring in organizing “The Meyer Golf Outing” in Brainerd, MN.

He had a gift of cooking and loved cooking gourmet meals which his family enjoyed.  He also enjoyed traveling.

In 1985, he graduated from Interstate Business College with a degree in business administration and worked as an accountant for various highway construction companies in Fargo.  His last position was working for Asphalt Paving and Supply, a division of Northern Improvement Company, in Prescott Valley, AZ.

On December 8, 1983, he married Bonnie Haas and resided in Fargo until 2006 when they moved to Prescott Valley, AZ.  Upon Bonnie’s retirement, they moved to Anthem, AZ where the winters were a little warmer and closer to healthcare.

Brad is survived by his wife, Bonnie Meyer, Anthem, AZ, two brothers, Terry (Dolly) Meyer, Hankinson, ND, and Wendell (Marcia) Meyer of West Fargo, ND, sister –in-law, Betty (Orville) Wetzel, Oregon and several nieces and nephews across the country.

A private gathering will be held at his final resting place in Cleveland, ND.

Due to COVID-19, a celebration of Brad’s life will be arranged at a later date.
