Evelyn Vydella Hanson, 102, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
Evelyn was born on May 14, 1917 in Woodworth, North Dakota, the daughter of Julius and Cassie Nelson.
She was united in marriage to Walter R. Hanson on September 2, 1939. He was the love of her life. They moved to Jamestown where she later became bookkeeper at Moline Construction and worked there for 30+ years.
Those left to honor her memory are daughters Ardith Stein (Muscatine, IA) and Joyce Romer (Carson, Ca) ; two grand-children, Jeffrey Stein and Mark Stein; two great-grandchildren, Grady Stein and Clayton Stein.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hanson; her siblings, Lorreine Ingraham, Agnes Bohl, and Arnold (Bud) Nelson; her son-in-law Charles Romer, and her grandson, Scott Romer.
There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date when travel is more convenient.
Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home.
